Annette Dey, P.E. studied structural engineering at Germany's premier Technical University in Aachen, and at the renowned Polytechnic University in Lausanne, Switzerland. After receiving high honors for her master's thesis about North American heavy timber joinery, she joined the engineering team at Benson Woodworking Company. During her nine years at BWC, she worked closely with Robert "Ben" Brungraber, an acknowledged leader in the field of timber engineering. Annette is licensed in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Massachussetts, New York and Connecticut and has been running her own consulting engineering firm since 2007.
